Mud Buckets

Bucketman’s standard specification Mud Bucket includes a reversible bolt on edge and multiple wear plates underneath. The cutting edge and side plates are made from 400Nm high tensile steel and the body is 345Nm Australian steel. The most popular 20T size has been developed at 2000mm wide and 1.34 cubic meters. 12-15T is 1625mm wide and 0.85 cubic meters.   These weigh 960Kg & 550Kg respectively. These sizes are popular for quick rear loading of trucks by maximising the volume of material that can be loaded in each loading action. They are a well-shaped deep style for volume and easy storage of smaller buckets inside during transport. The range begins at 1T 800mm to any large mine spec rock size you desire.

GP & Rock Buckets

The Bucketman Buckets are designed with efficient digging in mind. They are tapered to assist in dumping all the material. We use High Tensile 400nm Steel Cutting edges and side plates. To body is 345Nm Australian steel. This combined with an excellent strong top box.. Side cutters are fitted on 450mm+ size buckets and Bucketman has an exclusive 300mm welded on side cutter for a maximum bucket width of 310mm. This minimises concrete wastage in 300mm foundations. Heavy duty adapters and teeth are used that are commonly supplied replaceable size specification items from GET manufacturers with parts distribution Nationwide.

Shaker / Sort Buckets

Shaker, Sort, Sieve, Skeleton Buckets – Bucketman stocks 70mm, 100mm  and 120mm gap sorting buckets for efficient material sorting. We recommend 120mm Gap for general sorting and clay environments. The Demolition customers like the 70mm gap which keeps bricks in. Heavy duty ribs are standard on these buckets. Typically a 20T Sort bucket weighs just under 1000Kg so you can have confidence it will stand up to a heavy workload over time.  Most stock has CAT style GET fitted so replacement teeth if required is easy Nationwide. We also have some sort buckets with reversible bolt on edges fitted.   Custom sizing is also available.

Rippers

Bucketman’s Rippers are tough!  They are made from 1 thickness solid steel with Solid 450 Hardox utilised in the lower quarter of the tyne where the ripper boot is mounted. The 12T and larger sizes have Chin guard’s standard. They are designed relatively medium/short in length to allow maximum break out  leverage for tough jobs. The shanks on the 1-12T are 50mm thick. The 20T are 80mm thick and 350mm thick at the base.

Grapples

Our Grapple range is comprehensive with Normal/heavy duty, Heavy Duty and Heavy duty Serrated finger available. They all come with solid link arms and multi-position reaction plates. We also stock Hydraulic Grapples where exact angle placement is required (e.g. rock walls) or use on various machines is important.   They are designed with machine operator safety in mind. The 20T Grapples weigh in around 930Kg ensuring durability and efficient ease of operation. An extra Heavy Duty version is also available weighing 1190Kg for daily use in forestry etc.

Tilting Mud Buckets

The Tilting Mud Bucket range continues the high standard for Muddies with reversible Bolt on Edges and multiple wear plates underneath as standard. The twin ram design (5T +) offers efficient, strong angle articulation to 45 degrees. The rams are well protected by the raised top box shields.  Bucketman can also custom design trimming buckets where weight and width are more important than bulk loading. Compaction Wheels

Bucketman can supply a range of Compaction wheels in the Drum style. They have sealed bearings within the drum which eliminates the common issues for older style wheels. The 12T wheels are 470mm wide and weigh 460Kg, the 20T wheels are 510mm wide and weigh 745Kg and the 30T versions are 570mm wide and 1220Kg. Note the Axel mounts add additional width. These sizes maximise the pressure your machine can place on the soil being compacted. They are supplied with a bolt on Head Plate which enables change-over to machine with different pick-ups if you require this when you update your excavator or swap jobs and machines around in your fleet.

Thumbs

Bucketman has addressed the need for a Thumb that is permanently on the machine and can be used with any attachment you desire. The Thumb range we carry has articulation of 135 degrees. This allows the Thumb to be utilised close to a vertical position This can be bulk loading of tree foliage combined with a Mud or GP bucket through to picking up wire with the Ripper. They are very popular with Demolition contractors on site where they dig, then push then load and they can do this with a GP bucket/Thumb combination. We generally sell Manual Thumbs from 1-5T and Hydraulic versions from 5T + applications.

Rakes

Bucketman has developed a heavy duty range of Excavator Rakes for serious clean-up work. Typical applications are for paddock or forestry land tidy up. The owners wish to use the land without large rocks, timber or scrub but need to minimise the soil disturbance. As a recent customer said, “I need 10 rippers with 12T strength in a row as I can put the full machine pressure on just 1 Tyne if I hit a rock or stump in the ground”. These heavy duty rakes have 450 Hardox in the bottom third. Rakes are also popular with demolition crews. Bob, Director at Apex waste says “this rake has paid for itself in 2 months with the efficiencies gained in my rubbish sorting process”.

Bucketman can assist when you set up a new machine, need to replace a worn out hitch or if you are losing Tenders because your machines doesn’t have AS4772-2008 dual locking hitch compliance. Note all new machines in NSW must meet this standard. The Tefra brand is made by Hill Industries in the UK. They are World leaders in quality and innovation in the construction industry. The key attributes of the Tefra hitches are the simplicity (only 3 moving parts) and that the fact they lock on in their static or resting position. This means you have to force the locks apart from their natural resting position to release the attachment and this is only possible when the attachment is crowded up where it is held in place by gravity.
